And so Mr. Joemil’s review came this morning, something that brightened up my day. He sent his review in PhilMusicSG yahoo group. my personal review of BF2.. mostly negative maybe because its a ripped mp3 copy that i had downloaded. wala pa kasi yung CD. hehehe:  Keep in mind that I am not a professional musician

tomorrows past by soundpedia - happy beat with a not so happy wordings.. good deal. medyo parang kulang lang yata sa dynamics yung guitar or baka lubog lang pagka mix. I like the crispness and clarity of the vocals 3.5/5.

enemy within by transient attack* - one of my favourites. tapang ng g.riffs and a very chris cornell vocals + melody. d ko lang ma dig yung may one time na merong syncopated na beat. napuputol hinga ko. but its one the the best for me 5/5.

coaster ride by launchbox - very tight yung instruments. cute sounding vocals with a very very very good diction. pwede itong pang intro ng teeny bop na tv series or maybe a shampoo commercial. I think this track will have more air time on the radio but needs a radio edit (too long) 5/5

seize the day by aftermath - downer song. sorry i hit the next track button. Parang if you put a Japanese lyrics it will sound good (not scored)

Vanished by Kernel panic - nice intro.. very deep. kaso pag pasok ng vocals at times medyo nag-out of time ang instruments… atsaka di rin ako makarelate sa melody na parang undecided yung singer kung pano kakantahin. good mixing though.  3/5

ikaw lang by saint trend - ito pinaka balance ang instruments atsaka vocals.  ang yabang ng intro, love song pala. kala ko si bon jovi yung kakanta. 4/5

stay by yellow tea lady - si aiza s. ba ito hehehe… needs improvement on the diction but good enough i guess.  pwede tong song na to for Disney … I may have heard some timing problems.  The song sounds 70s dating sa kin.  trivia “I” count = 20 ba?    3/5

our father by mrbrosnan? - sounds very mr brosnan..like the previous song cardionomaly.. pero medyo pandinig ko lubog ang drum track.  the vocals are very good and clear kaso kulang yata sa hook.  nagdala lang yung g.riffs ni master yeyi. 4.5/5

traces of yesterday - needs a lot of improvement specially on the timing. i don’t know if its because it’s punk.  second voice is pitchy and the bassline is hitting bad notes. 2/5

best love by after six - nasa ibabaw ng tunog yung keyboard.. pitchy vocal melody undecided yung singer if he wants it to sing this way or that way. the recording sounds like a midi from the magic sing mic.  2/5

guitarded - i like this track para akong mapapa break dance. bandang huli nabubulunan na yung guitarist sa sobrang umaapaw na ideas niya. 4/5

angel of the sea by the cure!!! these guys are stuck in the 80s era.  keep it up.  I am sure lots can dig your music.  very likable tong track na to kahit ako kinakanta ko na kagad yung melody “..angel of the sea” 4/5

island jam by blues junkie - i like the drum tracks very dynamic although mahina at lubog.  kaso parang nag jam lang talaga sila. I was waiting for them to make the guitar cry.  “the doors” 4/5

song for you by cajooters - medyo garage band sounding. kala ko hanson mmmbop. this does not compute for me.  2/5

walang placement yung mga instruments… sounds flat pag pinakinggan mo nasa center lang lahat. sounds monotonic.  mas maigi siguro not to make it sound like live recording unless it is really recorded live.
