I bought my PlayStation 3 Console 5 months ago because I was so keen that time to buy a new gaming console. At first, I intended to buy XBOX 360 but because I was convinced by my officemate to buy PS3, and so xbox idea was dumped.
And since playing PS3 can’t be enjoyed by just merely having it but by maximizing it’s potentials… I bought 32″ HD TV. And so, PS3 fever began.
Sleepless nights, bum weekend, I wish someone could pay me by just playing PS3 games. Haha.
Of the 4 games I have so far (Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Virtual Tennis 3, Oblivion), Resistance really draw me to addiction. Playing online (and since it’s free unlike xbox) is something I enjoyed for so many weeks. Killing someone from the other countries is really fascinating and seeing my soldier character getting promoted added up the addiction. Haha!
The other day, I had this difficulty of downloading the PS3 2.0 update. I can’t play online (including Marvel Ultimate Alliance) because the system is requiring the new software update. After with so many attempts, I was able to download the update. And to my surprise, it gave me another reason to truly love this console - THEMES! Awesome…
Here’s one of the themes I got from the internet using my laptop. I was able to transfer the theme files to my PS3 console with the help of my friendly Red Kawa File Server:
Ever since I bought this console, I never thought of regretting of having it. I’m expecting more goodies from Sony for the PS3. And hopefully, mabibili ko na ung Heavenly Sword na game. Haha!

I have a 360 console and I am very happy with it. I must say when I walk into Best Buy and the PS3 display I always go WOW! How is the online play? XBOX live is pretty good.
Hi Russel, I know playing online in XBOX 360 cost a bit. And I read in a lot of forums that xbox console overheats.
Playing online in PS3 is free. Hardware-wise, it’s good and practical, unlike xbox 360’s new Halo edition. MS released it to cover up their console’s dilemma of overheating (coz early units have small fan while Halo unit got a bigger fan). And I got Blu-Ray player at the same time. Not to mention, I enjoyed playing PS3 because some games require SIXAXIS interaction.
I think you should try PS3. Don’t worry about the number of games available in PS3 as of this very moment. When I first bought my console, there were quite a number of games. But right now, there are a lot.
hey guys, you know ps3’s are much more capable than any Xbox or Wii or whatever. You HAVE to buy a PS3. I like playing stuff like NCAA Football 08, Madden 08, and NBA Live. You know how the crowd usually is like stick figures? Well, on PS3 the crowd looks real. And aside from the player indicators and stuff, you could believe you were watching ESPNHD Saturday Night Football.
